How to get to and from the event?
On foot – If you live nearby this is the easiest option. Please come to the main entrance on Valley Road.
By car – There will be no car parking on site. We have two car parks, one car park is an approximately 10 minute walk along a road that will be closed to traffic and the other is adjacent to the site.
Limited disabled parking is available on site for Blue Badge holders only. You will be able to reserve a disabled space after you have booked your admission tickets via a link on your confirmation email. Please note you will be required to have a disabled space registration and be displaying a blue badge in order to gain access to the site.
We ask that everyone attending is respectful of our neighbours and only use the car parks provided.
I can no longer attend, how do I return my ticket?
If you are unable to attend we would be grateful if you could return your tickets so they can be released to other people. To return unwanted tickets you can follow the steps here.
Does my child need a ticket?
General admission tickets must be ordered for those aged 17 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children of 2 and under do not require a ticket.
I would like some additional tickets, how do I request these?
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
We ask that the lead name on the ticket order is correct. If you need to change it, you can do this by updating your registration information. There is a useful tutorial here.
Can I book tickets for more than six people?
If you represent a charity, organisation or community group interested in attending and would like to make a booking for more than eight people please contact us on [email protected] For groups of less than eight people tickets must be ordered via the usual booking system.
I haven't received my tickets, what shall I do?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please either bring your printed tickets or use the Eventbrite app. All tickets will be scanned upon entry and duplicate entries will not be permitted. If you lose your ticket, you can reprint them from the Eventbrite website.
If you are unable to attend the event please cancel your ticket so we can enable others to use them.
Travelling and Parking
I hold a Blue Badge where do I park?
We will have limited disabled parking spaces available on site for Blue Badge holders. However you will need to reserve a space prior to the event. Details of how to do this are in your confirmation email received after booking general admission tickets. On the day you will need to bring your booking confirmation, general admission tickets and have your Blue Badge clearly displayed.
How do I get to and from the event?
Walking: If you live locally this will be the easiest way to get to the event. Please come to the Valley Road entrance

Please follow signs to direct you to the car parks. Please do be considerate to our neighbours and avoid parking on roads around the site.

How do I book a comms tour?
Tours of our communication centre will take place at specific times throughout the day. Tickets for these tours will be made available when you book general admission tickets.
Can I update my registration information?
You can make any changes to your registration information, including email address, names of people attending and ages of children here
What can I bring to the event?
- There will be security checks and all bags will be checked prior to entering the event. In order to reduce delays, please keep personal bags to a minimum.
- No alcohol can be brought on to site. There will be a designated smoking area.
- There are a variety of food outlets at the event, but if you do want to bring a picnic please ensure there is no glass, metal cutlery or other sharp objects. Please do not bring a BBQ.
- Please do not bring dogs to the event.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry.
How accessible is the event?
All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that this event is accessible to all, subject to the physical and health & safety restrictions of the site. Some areas will not be accessible to wheelchair users. If you would like further guidance on this please contact

If any members of your party find the noise or crowds too much then they can go to a quiet space that will be identified on the event site map.
Please be aware the site is on both hard standing and has some grass areas and so if you are bringing a buggy for a small child, some areas may not be easily accessible.
Is there any food and drink available ?
There are a variety of food outlets and picnics areas at the event. If you bring a picnic please ensure you do not have any glass, metal cutlery or other sharp objects.
How will I find out if the event is cancelled ?
Will the event go ahead if it's raining?
The event will go ahead regardless of weather, except in circumstances where the conditions at HQ are deemed unsafe or unfeasible to proceed with the event. We advise that you wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event.
